My First Year of Podcasting

When she read about the 2006 TechACCESS conference on the QIAT list, Marina asked - “Is there any possibility of accessing some of the presentations after the conference - for those who can't be there? You have a wonderful program lined up!” That was the impetus for me to begin a year of podcasting.

November 16, 2006 I showed up at the TechACCESS conference in Warwick, RI and interviewed seven presenters. By the end of November the podcasts were all up on the ConnSENSE Bulletin website, but it took quite a bit more time for me to learn how to move them up to the iTunes site.

I won’t walk you through all the other podcasts, but by the time I showed up at TechACCESS 2007 there were 44 podcasts on the website including the 2007 Closing the Gap podcasts. My podcast anniversary was marked by five more podcasts at TechACCESS 2007. All 49 podcasts are now up on the website:

I’m still working on getting the last of the 2007 CTG and 2007 TechACCESS recordings up to our iTunes site, but that should happen fairly soon. On the ITunes site you can subscribe (free) so that you will receive our future podcasts.

Thanks Marina!
