It is very pleasing to me to be able to send out information on this excellent
opportunity to you. Nova Southeastern University is looking for a qualified
applicant to lead the TLC early childhood program focused on users of AAC
and the power of communication. This is a terrific opportunity for someone
who would like to work in a university lab based setting, specifically in
a graduate speech and language clinic. The position also allows you to receive
tuition waiver for doctoral studies. Nova Southeastern University's Fischler
School has Educational Doctorate Programs in Early Childhood, Special Education,
as well as Instructional Technology.
Stepping aside from the formal info, I think this is a perfect opportunity
for someone who wants to teach and get a doctorate or advanced certificate
focused on working with young children. I currently hold this position and
am honored to be able to help with the search and answer any questions.
Some helpful information: Inside the graduate SLP program, we have two AAC
faculty! There are terrific resources, such as a huge AAC and AT lab. Additionally,
there are good opportunities to help out teaching in the graduate SLP program.
Also, Fort Lauderdale is beautiful. Additionally, a teacher wanting to shift
into an SLP role could enroll for that program and have tons of experience.
You can apply online at www.nsujobs.com and apply for position #995186 .
Note it says that the job is in N. Miami Beach, but it actually is in Fort
Lauderdale/ Davie, just off Main Campus at NSU.
Please feel free to email me off list if you would like.
Sincerely,
Sam
