We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated Communications Manager & Content Strategist that can think strategically and implement impactful communications that speak to the hearts and minds of our customers. In this position, you will produce high-quality content that engages our customers and members; and helps build brand resonance. Your main responsibilities will include developing and managing our corporate narrative, leading our member engagement work, and defining our cross-channel content strategy. Primary Functions: 01. Develop consistent and engaging messages that resonate with our customers and drive to our business and brand objectives. 02. Develop the corporate narrative and corresponding editorial strategy to help build brand resonance and value. 03. Lead our member engagement work, helping members maximize their health benefits. 04. Work cross-functionally to develop and implement effective communications strategies with defined key performance metrics. 05. Develop value propositions for products and health plans. 06. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. 07. In partnership with the digital team, develop our digital content strategy. 08. Develop and maintain our social media strategy, collaborating with social media contributors. 09. Develop health insurance communications to assist in building our brand and helping our members understand their health plan benefits. 10. Write and manage content with a focus on plain language and user comprehension, as well as for optimization. 11. Provide coaching, training, and leadership to other staff and company employees related to the communication style guide and written communication in general. 12. Proof and revise projects, prioritizing feedback, and revisions. 13. Performs other duties as assigned. Are you ready to be a betterist? Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent experience. 02. 8-12 year’s writing experience and 2+ years in content strategy and management role. Health insurance experience preferred. 03. Ability to partner, lead and accomplish tasks in a cross-functional organization. 04. Strong understanding of brand and product/service placement. 05. Must possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface internally and externally in a manner that represents that values and brand promise of the company. 06. Demonstrate strong project management and prioritization skills with a keen sense of how to meet deadlines. 07. Ability to effectively lead multiple projects and initiatives at one time.
