|Job Description :||Content and Social Media Writer – AKC Marketing AKC Marketing has an opening on the content and social media team where you will work with our B2B agriculture clients, helping to plan and write content, social media posts, manage paid far-reaching social media campaigns and create marketing plans.Responsibilities:Writes and executes content creation for assigned client. Exceptional writing skills and attention to detail is a must.Has the take-charge attitude needed to develop and maintain online content, including writing blogs and website content that attracts attention, generates interest and is sharable.Develops and executes social media campaigns and strategies/programs for the assigned client, both organic and paid. Identifies opportunities to build clients’ visibility in reaching their target audience.Assists the client and internal team in putting together a content strategy for campaigns, including digital, print, tradeshow, etc.Creates and maintains content marketing calendar to ensure regular content through the year.Develops search engine optimized content and consistently utilizes targeted keywords.Monitors industry best practices and content activities of competitors.Maintains website content for client.Become an expert in the clients’ business and the competitive landscape. Seeks out new and unique social media, digital and print opportunities.Measure quantifiable growth goals of social media programs through increased dialogue and varied conversion rates; analyzes, reviews, and reports on effectiveness of campaigns; translates metrics to actual insights gained from social media and monitoring to help inform marketing, development, and other key departments.May work with technical personnel in the development of tools that allow for easy integration with a social network. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.Requirements and Experience:At least 5 years of experience required.Marketing or journalism degree preferred.Excellent writing skills.Social media marketing experience – Paid and Organic.Experience developing a content and social media strategy.Experience working with and developing a marketing plan.Practices superior time management.Demonstrates good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO, including keyword research and Google Analytics.Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), their respective participants and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.Understanding of how to measure the success of campaigns.Client travel may be required.Agricultural knowledge a plus.We offer a relaxed, yet highly motivated work environment, where each individual’s contribution to the business is truly valued.
