I-EMOTE WHAT YOUâLL DO: The Content Editor II will oversee and contribute to the creation of copy for G5 clients as an editor while upholding G5 Copy and SEO standards and best practices. This position requires interdepartmental collaboration and the ability to work daily on multiple projects at a time, including but not limited to: Web content, sales collateral, emails, banners, promotions, direct mail pieces, internal blog posts, social media as well as brand deliverables. The Content Editor II also assists in steering the workflow of the Content team — helping mitigate conflicting priorities and optimize workflow for the in-house writing and external contractor team. They author process changes and update training for the team as needed. They also play a part in mentoring other members of the team — including editors, writers and contractors — with the goal of elevating the quality of the Studio’s creative deliverables. This position requires interdepartmental collaboration and the ability to work daily on multiple projects. Success in this role depends on exceptional editing skills with the goal of elevating and producing an excellent quality copy product for our clients. Success also depends on the individual’s ability to manage a constant workflow, collaborate both internally and externally, meet deadlines, and understand and implement SEO strategy while conveying a positive, team-focused attitude. #LI-REMOTE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Edit and deliver high-quality, original website content on time while exceeding expectations Adhere to best practices and content guidelines Ensure written content adheres to brand’s tone of voice Fact check and edit for grammar, punctuation, tone, and style Collaborate with our writers to elevate our content deliverables while keeping a unique tone of voice for each client Edit (and sometimes author) digital content for G5 clients which includes: Web marketing content, sales collateral, emails, banners, promotions, direct mail pieces, internal blog posts and social media posts Edit brand content for G5 clients which includes: Brand Guidelines, Tone of Voice Guidelines and Social Media Guidelines Maintains site style standards and develops and enforces internal guidelines by vertical; may conduct client interviews to ascertain tone, voice and brand for clients across verticals, as needed Uses extensive copy editing experience to provide training, support and guidance to more junior team members Works interdepartmentally across the organization to ensure all guidelines and best practices are up to date with current industry standards Additional responsibilities as requested by manager REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field 4-7 years of professional experience editing a variety of content Ability to accept projects quickly, be agile and adaptable while meeting daily deadlines Experience utilizing SEO strategies in digital content Excellent proofreading skills and an eye for detail Excellent command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation Understanding of style and adapting content to context Working knowledge of usability principles and website best practices Proficiency in researching, writing and editing informative and user-centered copy with minimal to no supervision Attention to detail Outstanding planning and organizational skills Ability to take feedback with grace and poise Ability to deliver feedback in a thoughtful and respectful manner AP style master WHAT WE OFFER: At RealPage, we’re always looking for talented professionals who thrive in a learning work environment that continually supports individual greatness.
