Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Manages all assigned projects with the primary responsibility of editing content with food-related and health/wellness themes; materials with ethnic themes; educational themes, and any other type of projects assigned by the Creative Director. Edits copy for complex food-oriented multi-platform projects, including culinary, gourmet retail and guidebook programs. Self manage administrative tasks for upkeep of content library and company style guides. Performs all appropriate research to ensure content accuracy. Acts as a liaison with external sources to ensure content received meets specifications. Coordinates with Recipe Content Manager to ensure food-related content meets project specifications. Supervisory Responsibilities Direct Reports This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports Indirect Reports This position does not have guidance or mentoring responsibilities for indirect reports Travel and/or Driving Requirements Travel and Driving are not essential duties or functions of this job Minimum Qualifications Education Level: (Required): Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Field of Study/Area of Experience: Journalism, Food Studies, Health and Wellness 1-3 years of experience in content marketing, copy editing/fact checking. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills Good interpersonal skills Strong prioritization skills Decision making skills Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures Ability to exercise sound judgment Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, in order to meet deadlines Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Environmental & Physical Requirements Office / Sedentary Requirements Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
