Learn more at Position Summary: The Content Manager – Marketing will provide content development support focused on brand and other marketing initiatives. Further, The Content Manager provides exceptional writing, editing and content development expertise designed to effectively support the organization’s strategic goals and brand and reputation objectives. The incumbent works closely with other members of the marketing and communications department, as well as with relevant stakeholders across the organization, to develop and execute strategic content projects across multiple channels and targeted to one or more of MultiCare’s five audience groups: Customer, Collegiate, Corporate, Collaborative and Constituent. Principal Accountabilities Consults with multiple stakeholders to develop and execute strategic, relevant marketing content such as advertisements, promotional materials, emails, website landing pages, and paid social media content.Provides copywriting support to help ensure consistency of tone and voice, as well as effectiveness, quality and relevancy of content to various audiences, as well as to ensure marketing content is aligned with business unit and marketing strategies.Works with stakeholders across the organization as needed to help them develop effective marketing messaging and content.Oversees workflows and processes to help manage marketing content creation, distribution and repurposing, as needed. Collaborates with marketing team members to maintain a functional marketing content calendar incorporating key dates, deliverables and content owners. -Collaborates with the broader Marketing & -Communications department on system strategic plans and campaigns, brand and change initiatives, and company-wide events in support of our company objectives. Works closely with the marketing team to help shape the overall marketing strategy and work on ad-hoc projects, as necessary.Coordinates freelance writers and other vendors, as needed, to help support marketing content development projects. This is a virtual position with some in-person meeting requirements Minimum Requirements: Eight (8) years of experience in Journalism, Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Marketing or related field, with duties including writing, copyediting, proofreading in a fast-paced environment Experience in health care setting preferred Knowledge of content management systems (for example, WordPress) preferred Writing sample required Education/Licenses/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, English, journalism, or related field
