Learn more at www.multicarejobs.org Position Summary: The Content Manager – News Center Editor will provide content development support focused on our system-level storytelling as well as manage the news center of our employee intranet site, Point MultiCare. Further, The Content Manager provides exceptional writing, editing and content development expertise designed to effectively support the organization’s strategic goals and brand and reputation objectives. The incumbent works closely with other members of the marketing and communications department, as well as with relevant stakeholders across the organization, to develop and execute strategic content projects across multiple channels and targeted to one or more of MultiCare’s five audience groups: Customer, Collegiate, Corporate, Collaborative and Constituent. Principal Accountabilities Actively seek out interesting and informative stories and topics across the organization for internal and external storytelling.Work with other team members to facilitate development and distribution of content to all relevant channels (intranet news center, Vitals blog, social media, and so on).Develop and manage content on the MultiCare intranet news center and other areas under the purview of the marketing and communications department. Ensure content is fresh and consistent.Maintain the intranet’s news center’s editorial calendar to include editorial dates, key deliverables, stakeholders and assigned writing resources.Consult with multiple stakeholders to develop content that supports MultiCare’s employee engagement, brand and reputation goals.Provide copywriting support for intranet content submissions as needed.Monitor employee feedback and topics of discussion on news stories to identify communication opportunities. Work closely with the entire content team to help align overall content strategy.Provide writing and content development support for other channels and projects, as needed.Monitor site analytics and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for news center.Serve as “super user” of intranet platform.Coordinates freelance writers and other vendors, as needed, to help support content development projects. This is a virtual position with some in-person meeting requirements. Minimum Requirements: Eight (8) years of experience in Journalism, Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Marketing or related field, with duties including writing, copyediting, proofreading in a fast-paced environment Experience in health care setting preferred Knowledge of content management systems (for example, WordPress) preferred Writing sample required Education/Licenses/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, English, journalism, or related field|
