In this role you will create new content and oversee the development of graphic design work to support the global marketing and communications efforts of Iridium Satellite, LLC. You’ll be responsible for curating engaging content, online and offline communications, website messaging, managing a content calendar, implementation of marketing communications programs, managing video creation and graphic design work, and developing thought leadership initiatives to elevate the organization’s position in the industry.The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on translating technical content into easily digestible information, drafting and editing marketing copy, and ensuring consistent messaging across a wide range of materials. This position manages both internal and external graphic design resources. If you’re interested in working for a company that focuses on enabling the next generation of global connectivity, Iridium may be the perfect company for you.*What You’ll Do: *Develop dynamic content and graphics for executive presentations, and work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create thought leadership pieces that drive brand awareness for Iridium and position the company as industry experts.Oversee the design and creative development of marketing assets for both print (case studies, brochures, newsletters, event materials) and digital (website, email, advertising) campaigns, as well as driving the development of attention-grabbing videos, animated graphics and other electronic multimedia that make viewers stop and take notice.Develop content for the organization’s corporate website, intranet, and promotional micro sites, which includes working cross-functionally to create new and enhanced materials that represent the Iridium brand voice and positioning.Elevate Iridium’s brand voice by producing and maintaining a content calendar that ensures a consistent flow of information across varying audiences and platforms, including events, web updates, interactive experiences, video scripts, and internal and external communications.Manage and develop graphic design resources, including internal team members as well as providing direction to creative agencies/vendors.What You’ll Need to Succeed: Capable of being a strong motivator and source of direction for junior team members and role modelling commitment to your team’s goalsBe able to analyze and understand a situation or problem and think critically to make decisions and come up with new and unique solutionsBe a PowerPoint specialist with an eye for layout and the ability to create impressive presentations that use high-impact visuals, clean transitions and utilize visual content to communicate key messages and takeawaysStrong content creator with excellent writing skills and a passion for storytelling. Must be able to work independently as well as manage a diverse team.Proven experience with content management software (such as WordPress), writing and proofreading copy, project management, branding, collateral development, sales support, and presentation development.*Things That Would be Great if You Brought to the Table: *Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, Google Analytics.Strong portfolio of published or professional samples in a variety of marketing communications and channels.We’ll also need you to: Be able to travel at least 10% of the time (including international travel).*Iridium requires all employees/new hires to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work.
