Our leadership team includes experts from the real estate, mortgage, and technology industries. About the opportunity Homeward’s marketing team is looking for a content marketing manager to help us develop and execute a full funnel, multi-channel content strategy focused on driving customer acquisition, activation, and expansion. The perfect candidate has a strong background in long and short-form content, including site copy, blog posts, sales collateral, customer stories as well as interactive / visual content experience. You excel at taking business priorities and ideas from various parts of an organization (product marketing, campaign managers, brand, etc..) and developing tailored content strategies and directly or indirectly drive execution that brings them to life across content channels. You understand how to use content to drive marketing and sales objectives throughout the funnel, and enjoy owning the creation and implementation process. Your capabilities include, but also go way beyond written content and you’re eager to find a role that empowers you to test new content formats and channels. You’re great when it comes to partnering with design teams, agencies and freelancers to build content that resonates and drives results.. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. In this role, you will Develop and execute comprehensive content marketing tactics that drive key metrics across the customer lifecycle from awareness, to acquisition, activation and expansion. Contribute to an editorial calendar for content planning and production, and perform regular content audits for content gap analysis. Develop and drive alignment around content plans for your assigned projects Deliver content that fuels cross-channel product marketing and brand campaigns in partnership with product, design, sales, and marketing teams, owning end-to-end projects and individual deliverables. Produce a wide range of content including web copy, blog posts, guides, sales collateral, customer stories, ebooks, webinars, community posts and net-new content corresponding to emerging business needs/marketing moments. You’ll provide insights based on performance data that identifies where we should continue to invest and where we need to pivot. Ensure content marketing deliverables are consistent with our brand voice, style and tone. You will review and edit marketing materials or written collateral by other marketing and product teams. Recruit, enable and activate stakeholders across the organization and within the broader Homeward team to share and produce additional content (e.g. contributions to our blog, case studies, etc.) to amplify our reach. You’ll communicate across the organization. Working closely with our internal content and social media teams to build new campaigns while also managing freelancers and agency support. Initially, to learn the basic voice and architecture of our company, you’ll own and craft marketing content for our website(s), including copy tweaks, seasonal repositioning, operational updates and product additions. Then, you’ll quickly expand to blog, video, eBook, infographics, etc… What you’ll bring 5+ years of content creation experience, with strong writing skills and experience across interactive content types (video, visual). You’re an excellent copywriter and storyteller. You understand the nuance between different customers and how to craft compelling messaging that speaks to them, their needs, and where our product fits in. You have a proven track record of driving top of funnel growth with content. You have experience leading end-to-end campaigns or content projects, defining objectives and strategies, core KPIs, leading indicators, and executing on a plan. You have in-depth knowledge of content creation, SEO, social media, content amplification, and full-funnel campaign management. You understand how to drive value from and measure the impact of content. You’re able to identify patterns in data, synthesize insights, and use them to make content and conversion funnels stronger. You’re proficient with web content best practices, including SEO, HTML, and uploading content into a content management system (Webflow experience a big plus). You’re skilled in developing content in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders and translating their insight into compelling content storylines. Including headline copy, product value propositions, and promotional brand content. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with agencies and contractors.
