REMOTE Job Terms: Temporary Start date: ASAP Date: 01/31/2022 Job Description: Day in the life: The contractor will work with the team responsible for migrating content into our Knowledge Center. They will be reviewing and remediating content, and performing various types of project working supporting these work streams. Excellent writing and editing skills, attention to detail, and experience with SharePoint Online is required. Experience with policy and procedures content or with financial services content would be beneficial. Experience with Social Chorus, Coveo intelligent search and HTML coding would be beneficial. Top minimum requirements: Content development Content editing Content migration into templates with SharePoint Online environment Summary: Supporting the Knowledge Management team in the Advisor Services group, the web publisher will utilize content management systems to publish new content onto our internal web channels. As the last line of defense in delivering in knowledge content to our representatives, you will have an eye for detail and a deep understanding of: Editorial and Brand guidelines. Troubleshooting HTML and CSS issues. SEO best management practices Key Functional Areas of Responsibility Review and edit content updates for grammar, editorial style, and web optimization (HTML and SEO standards). Develop new internal pages using content provided by business partners. • Set up/configure information architecture and functionality components as well as load and update content and images. • Assist with content efforts such as page remediation and information architecture improvements. Typical tasks for the web publisher might include: Reviewing, editing and publishing multiple web pages in a SharePoint-based internal system. Creating pages using content provided by business partners. Auditing content or information architecture for internal or external knowledge websites. Functional Experience Demonstrated experience managing website content updates and publishing/editorial workflows. Experience following website editorial style and standards guides. Strong working understanding of web layout and presentation best practices. Proven track record of delivering high-quality execution. Demonstrated ability to juggle different priorities with strong attention to detail. Ability to be a self-starter and work independently. Experience writing or editing technical content such as operational procedures, training material or other business procedure related content is strongly preferred. Financial services experience strongly preferred. Technical Experience Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and SharePoint. At least basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio demonstrating previous experience with SharePoint, HTML5 and/or Salesforce Knowledge.
