Job Description : Content Strategist – Americas (220002BC) PRIMARY LOCATION : UNITED STATES-CONNECTICUT-GREENWICH CT ORGANIZATION : AXAIM Core – Client Group CONTRACT TYPE : Regular SHIFT : Day Job SCHEDULE : Full-time DESCRIPTION Job Purpose Individual will oversee creating and implementing content strategy for AXA IM for the Americas region, in concert with regional sales and overall marketing objectives and positioning. The role will require an extensive level of interaction and collaboration with sales teams, client service, global marketing / content teams and fund managers in the organization to create a content platform that can be leveraged across multiple countries, numerous languages and varied channels (AXA IM owned channels, co-marketing partners, and key media outlets). Key Accountabilities Be fully responsible for developing and implementing the regional content strategy for the promotion of AXA IM, its products and its distribution channels in Canada, US, Mexico and Latin America. Act as the primary content writer and editor for the Americas, taking ownership for developing and delivering the content required to support growth across asset classes. Candidate will also assist in producing content for internal stakeholders and channels on an ad hoc basis. Liaise directly with US compliance to make sure all content is approved for regional use and meets the marketing requirements of the country where the content is targeted. Take full responsibility for driving, developing, adapting, and delivering the content playbook for AXA IM Americas. The regional content ecosystem will consist of specific sales campaigns, aligned to business priorities, product profiles and targeted thought leadership via multi-format content menus. Work in partnership with the global product marketing, editorial & content strategy and local content writers to develop and deliver the required content for specific strategic and tactical campaigns, aligned to focus/defend product priorities. Timely delivery of all product content and collateral required. Scope of content: insights and markets articles, sales ideas, web/social media content, video content, infographics and email content. This will involve managing/coordinating the whole production process, working closely with our global brand/ marketing team, external agencies and also compliance. Generate ideas and deliver new and innovative ways of promoting AXA IM, our capabilities and products to clients specially refreshing the why now stories to help sales to sell products and to retain and defend. Coordinate closely with external agencies and freelancers to ensure quality of content and that it adheres to all brand guidelines and voice. QUALIFICATIONS Experience At least five years’ experience in marketing, business, investment writing, or communications (preferably within the financial services industry or asset management environment). Experience in brand or product marketing an advantage, ie experience in developing messaging, value propositions and marketing content. Knowledge & Skills Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and engaging way to different audiences (institutional, fund selectors, professional advisor, and end investors), both written and graphically, ranging in knowledge and sophistication. Have excellent writing and editing skills as well as a very strong understanding of financial markets, economics, and investment products. Able to proactively come up with ideas for original content as well as adapt content from other regions for use across Americas landscape. Strong research and analytical capabilities. Proficiency with analytics, ability to interpret data and use it to provide evidence in support of written statements. Experience in writing for social, digital is essential. Proven track record in operating within tight deadlines and delivering high quality written products. Ability to work effectively in a team – someone who is collaborative, flexible, and adaptable, reliable with a strong ‘can do attitude’. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to easily build relationships with different teams (investment teams, product managers and other business partners) and to capture ideas and extract relevant and timely information.
