Job Description : POSITION SUMMARY: The Content Writer will research, write, and edit content for marketing and client education. Produce and deliver excellent campaign, content, and editorial projects. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Research and write about specified topics: Using information provided by Marketing Managers, develop content that meets the goals for a campaign or use case. Write clear, accurate, compelling content in alignment with brand guidelines and other digital content strategy. – 60 % Ghostwriting, conduct research and interviews: Interview subject matter experts and translate their words into articles or client-facing materials. 25% Manage Content: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of content that is housed on our intranet knowledge network. Manage project timelines, milestones, and internal details to ensure timely delivery of all copy and content. 10% Additional responsibilities and projects as assigned. 5% EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s degree preferred • 3 years of content writing and editing required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field. • Proven content writing or copywriting experience in the insurance industry (must provide portfolio of work at interview). • Experience writing content for the insurance industry or employee benefits is preferable but not required. • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, working on multiple projects concurrently. • Exceptional communication skills Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines • SEO, social media, or content marketing experience a plus • A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design. • Ability to adapt well to change. • Must demonstrate the organization’s core values, exuding behavior aligned with the firm’s culture.
