|Job Description :||Job Description Greenville, SC The content writer can confidently tackle long- and short-form written content across a variety of mediums. They’re responsible for producing thoughtful, compelling, high-quality written content for advertising campaigns, including websites, blogs, print or digital ads, publications, video, email, and more. The content writer’s words will engage, inform, and sell to target audiences for various industries. Above all, they’re an imaginative writer with an eye for detail, who can maintain a consistent voice for a brand. The content writer is responsible for taking a creative brief and generating original copy that grabs the attention of the target audience. They meet regularly with the accounts team to understand client requirements, core messages, product, and voice, and with the creative team to review work, brainstorm ideas, and develop concepts. They should be able to confidently present and discuss ideas internally and with clients, can take and adapt to feedback, and have a knack for diving back in and perfecting work to meet the creative director and clients’ expectations. The content writer is a team player and a collaborator who works closely with other teams: Accounts, PR, Creative, Social, and Website, but is also able to dig in and work independently. They’re continuously developing their skills using feedback from all internal teams to further improve their craft. They’re expected to always think creatively and do their best to translate conceptual thoughts into copy that falls in line with a client’s brand standards. As they gain feedback, they’ll be able to use their growing confidence to offer more ideas and insights into creative campaign strategies, while sharpening their writing abilities. Key Duties & Responsibilities Work closely with all teams to understand brand objectives, standards and campaign goals. Write long-form content for websites, articles, newsletters, emails, and more. Edit and proofread copy as needed. Maintain consistent brand voice. Collaborate with internal teams to develop a variety of content marketing materials. Assist in developing campaign strategies with Design Team and Art Directors. Write SEO-optimized website copy and work closely with Digital Content Coordinator/Strategist to determine keyword targeting. Use feedback to continue to improve writing abilities. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, creative writing, or related field 5 years experience|
