The Writer’s primary goal is to develop and execute on our content strategy to engage, attract and retain customers. A byproduct will be attracting industry analysts and employee recruits to Deepwatch. This role requires excellent strategy, planning and research skills. Strong interviewing and writing skills are essential. Position Responsibilities Organize and implement a content editorial calendar to support integrated campaigns and SEO requirements Develop content including whitepapers, blogs, bylines, ebooks and other written pieces to support our SEO, awareness and demand generation strategies Think strategically, but also execute with exceptional attention to detail Develop content and write copy for use across all platforms and in customer communications to drive engagement and retention – including email campaigns, social media, website, marketing materials and B2B communications Manage and assist with all communications, marketing, public relations and promotional activities to support brand and marketing strategies Contribute to editing of sales enablement materials Collaborate with product marketing and creative services to develop web content that is relevant for support conversion rate optimization Enforce/ensure Deepwatch brand adherence To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements: Required Experience, Skills and Knowledge BA/BS or equivalent working experience Deep understanding and first-hand experience with writing about cybersecurity, preferably for services companies, and for technical audiences Demonstrated ability to research topics and develop engaging written content Passion for developing engaging content and writing great copy Strong knowledge of digital marketing tactics and best practices Ability and willingness to be a hands on contributor Outstanding communicator and creative thinker Critical thinking and problem solving skills Effective time management skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Great command of the English language, both written and verbal A go-getter with can-do mentality Highly organized and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced environment Ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen in accordance with applicable laws Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge 3-5 years of experience writing security industry content Enterprise security experience strongly preferred Proficient in marketing automation and analytics technologies Colorado* Candidates : Minimum salary of $80,000 + bonus + commissions + stock options + benefits. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when working remotely from the state of Colorado.
