Job Description : AllyAlign Health seeks a part-time Copywriter to join our marketing team. After 90 day trial, this position will have the opportunity to be a full-time exempt employee. In this role, the copywriter reports to the Director of Marketing and be the primary point of contact for writing content to help support business development and sales of Medicare Advantage Plans, and other business channels. The copywriter will be the lead content creator for the companys print, digital and website initiatives while assuring all are compliant to the appropriate Medicare Communication and Marketing Guidelines and U.S. Health and Human Services About AllyAlign Health AllyAlign Health is a leading convener and owner of Medicare Advantage plans designed for senior housing residents. The company began reforming the health system in 2014 by enabling leading long-term care providers to launch provider-sponsored managed care plans for vulnerable senior populations. Today, AAH manages a number of comprehensive special needs plans to reduce healthcare costs and improve patient quality of life. Responsibilities Familiarize yourself with each brand ideals and website to update content that supports their objectives and desired identity Work collaboratively with marketing team, plan leaders, executive team, and sales team to revise, our create new messaging strategies to support marketing campaigns Writing clear and error-free content for a website that reflects the companys voice On occasion, meet with clients to understand their message, brand voice and target audience Proposing copy concepts in an engaging way for clients and work with marketing team to carry out projects Interpreting creative direction and technical information and turning them into persuasive copy concepts Collaborating with PR and marketing departments to brainstorm and develop a variety of marketing materials Working with clients to edit and modify copy to meet their content expectations Properly track and document approvals for deliverables Recommend marketing processes/workflow efficiencies related to role Become an expert of Medicare Marketing Guidelines from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Qualifications Masters degree in English, preferred 3-5 years of experience in technical writing and/or advertising Desire to excel in a fast-paced environment with quick turn arounds Experience in project management, ability to manage multiple priorities/deadlines Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively to problem-solve Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe products Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations or healthcare marketing a plus Knowledge and Skills Organized, reliable, self-starter with strong creative thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Proven record of creating effective content for specific audiences and meeting deadlines Strong interpersonal skills (written and verbal) Ability to influence and advise plan clients and leaders and deliver recommendations in an impactful manner Equally adept at working independently and collaboratively Positive attitude and strong attention to detail; an eagle eye for proofreading preferred Be flexible; manage change in a positive and collaborative manner A quick wit and strong sense of humor encouraged General working knowledge of WordPress and Google Analytics Due to the nature of our business, we require all of our employees to be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus on their first day of employment, in compliance with CMS requirements and all applicable EEOC guidance regarding vaccines and qualified exemptions.
