About The Role: The Copywriter is responsible for the creation and delivery of marketing copy to be used to generate sales leads, primarily for partner promotional materials, but also for Wiley University Services work where assigned. This role is responsible for the execution of marketing materials in a variety of formats, including print, online, and media. Types of collateral include research-based blog articles, emails, radio ads, landing pages, web page copy, case studies, and more. Content creation involves knowledge of market standards and best practices as well as a thorough understanding of AP style in addition to other style books and company and partner preferences. Although the Copywriter is an entry-level position, related previous experience and a working knowledge of AP standards and writing for marketing is required. This position will work closely with the Editing Manager, the editorial team, and fellow copywriters to develop a deeper knowledge writing and industry standards.
