As a Copywriter, technology content, you’ll be on a fully dedicated team writing B2B copy for one of the world’s biggest tech companies. You’ll collaborate with designers, strategists, and account leads internally to develop digital marketing communications spanning email campaigns, websites, blog posts, videos, presentations, event support, and more. The ideal candidate has a curious attitude about technology, and can stay on brand while writing for different audiences and channels. They can stay humble while pushing the work forward in an environment that encourages expression, inclusivity, and collaboration. You don’t necessarily need direct experience writing about technology, but you should have some experience writing within a B2B context. Backgrounds that include writing for finance, biotech, health care, science, or similar will be helpful preparation for this role. Our communications for this client are based more on information than marketing-speak, so we’re looking for a candidate who enjoys figuring out how things work and translating that into value propositions for various audiences. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Collaborate with our existing team to produce high-quality communications, from concept to execution, for emails, landing pages, social media, microsites, and marketing collateral Communicate effectively in a cross-functional team, and understand how different roles and skill sets complement each other Develop a deep understanding of clients’ brands and proactively apply and adhere to brand standards Maintain consistent creative quality Who we’re looking for: Along with your resume, please be sure to submit 4-5 marketing communications writing samples, when applying 1–3 years experience working in B2B communications, preferably in tech, science, health, finance, or similar Email marketing experience is a huge plus Editorial writing style, and ability to take complex concepts and distill them into copy with a conversational and helpful tone Familiarity with foundational elements of creative development, such as creative briefs, messaging frameworks, and brand guidelines – and the ability to work within those guardrails while still writing something fresh that will motivate audiences to act Able to work independently or with a group to solve a problem, develop creative concepts, and drive projects to completion within expected timelines Desire and demonstrated ability to avoid typical marketing jargon in favor of clear, original copy Ability to own the writing of a project, with oversight from senior team members Comfortable bringing ideas to the table, especially for ways to better communicate complex information simply and as a perfect complement to design Strong affinity with digital tools and an interest in learning about the latest in enterprise and cloud technology #LI-SD1 About Media.Monks: At Media.Monks, you’ll be joining a highly ambitious company on a global mission to win the decade by changing the industry for good.
