Your Role and Responsibilities IBM Marketing Studio is an in-house, global studio within the Marketing Services Center with experts specializing in brand, design, video, editorial, case study development, social and web, as well as agile coaching and application development. We offer a range of innovative services from the strategic to the tactical and work very closely with our marketing clients to improve their business outcomes. The Creative Director for Content role will serve as a creative leader for the IBM Blue Studio. As part of the IBM Blue Studio leadership team, the Creative Director will work in close partnership with the VP, IBM Brand Experience and Design and the Content Practice Director, to advance the modern expression of the IBM brand in design across all touch points. This professional will lead and guide both IBM internal and external teams (agencies, partners, etc.). The Creative Director will help expand the influence and impact of the team across IBM, and strengthen executional excellence across all content touch points, including video, digital and physical. While contributing to the overall vision for the advancement of the IBM brand through content, this professional will also personally lead multiple strategic content projects and work streams that are both practical and progressive in nature. This work will include the design of brand identity, visual and verbal expression, concept creation, environments, exhibitions, communications, experiences, etc. Responsibilities: Be a strong advocate and expert in the meaning, strategy and expression of the IBM brand Collaborate, influence as well as manage through his/her expertise and knowledge of content Generate new ideas while maintaining the standards of the brand Accountable for the overall success of IBM content projects and experiences measured in specific business outcomes, such as new client acquisition/adoption of a service. Develop strategies, plans and set priorities. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Required skills: 5 years of relevant experience in a Creative Director position. Extensive experience directing and leading design teams Knowledge of grids, typography, graphic design, color, layout, iconography, imagery, and design patterns and systems to address ambiguous, complex problems and project Stakeholder interactions and design advocacy.
