Overview The Digital Content Manager will oversee Rotary.org and My Rotary content to maintain an engaging, informative, and inspiring digital experience for all audiences. The role is responsible for delivering the organization’s content strategy, overseeing editors, writers, and web production. In addition, this position will partner with the Magazine Manager to create an engaging digital experience for Rotary magazine, the monthly membership publication. As the head of the Digital Content team, you will play a key role in driving the content ecosystem for the organization and establishing a collaborative working relationship between stakeholders within the Communications team and across the organization. You Will Have 5+ years in editorial or content production for websites and/or magazines Experience working with content in multiple languages preferred 3+ years’ experience with brand marketing A discerning eye and ear and can develop multimedia content that aligns with and bolsters the Rotary International voice. Knowledge of marketing and content KPIs SEO and web traffic metrics Social Media expertise You Are Good At Editing/writing for different cultures and contexts and honing in on a compelling narrative Content marketing with deep customer/reader/viewer empathy, brand sensitivity, and digital media expertise Balancing storytelling with brand building content; conversant in editorial and media, as well as in business and marketing strategy and can deftly strategically align the two Identifying opportunities to create processes and programming where there were none before Managing content ecosystems – you are a channel and media expert and can develop and distribute appropriate content for each channel You Will Be Responsible For Driving the content strategy across Rotary web properties, using a creative vision, and leveraging data insights to improve the performance of our brand content Ensuring web content is current, accurate and accessible Managing the digital version of Rotary magazine in partnership with the Editor in Chief to ensure an engaging experience for readers Collaborating with partners across the company, to create and promote content to support key initiatives Consistently developing systems, processes, and creative solutions to scale with the organization, proactively taking initiative to improve and reimagine processes Championing the Rotary International brand, voice, and tone Providing leadership, vision, and support to the Digital Content team Leadership Attributes Collaboration: Builds partnerships and works jointly with others to meet shared objectives. Global Perspective: Anticipates trends in the global humanitarian market to make decisions on where to focus Rotary’s efforts.
