| Job Description : | Your Role: The Digital Copywriter is responsible for the creation of written assets for a variety of digital channels. Responsibilities include both strategy and copywriting for organic social, search engine optimization, content marketing, email marketing, and new website builds. This position requires deep empathetic and strategic skills, plus an ability to write compelling, thoughtful content. Familiarity with digital marketing is a must. This position will come with internal growth opportunities through both upward mobility and the expansion of services. Primary Responsibilities: Copywriting for various digital channels, including web copy, organic social media, paid search advertising, Amazon, and email marketing Create individual concepts and strategies that integrate with marketing automation and email marketing campaigns Write long-form articles and other advanced content for various marketing campaigns Perform content optimization as necessary Support marketing automation efforts, including both strategy and production Write email campaigns and organic social for clients; ensure strategy throughout Proofread and line edit content, ensuring there are no typos, grammatical errors, or other potential issues Additional Responsibilities: Support for sales process, including scoping related to copywriting and content for new web builds and recurring services Required Skills: Creative copywriting, both empathetic and strategic Skilled at content creation across media and platforms Superior writing skills including grammar, editing and proofreading Organization and attention to detail including the ability manage multiple priorities and deadlines Deep, holistic understanding of organic social platforms and strategies Ability to ideate on the fly and brainstorm new ideas and strategies during internal and client-facing meetings Initiative, teamwork, time management and delegation Client-facing skills, including ability to advocate for ideas and services Ability to collaborate with roles across company Sell and advocate for team’s work to the client and stakeholders Preferred skills: Basic or advanced knowledge of search engine optimization Familiarity with Google Analytics About Rocket55 (rocket55.com): Rocket 55 is a leading, full-service digital agency with a proven track record of delivering results for our clients.
