Job Description : Job briefWe are a rapidly growing venture services firm with a fun, welcoming atmosphere, and amazing company culture. We are in search of a driven individual to manage (develop and track) PPC, SEM, online campaigns, public relations/media outreach, and digital messaging campaigns (email campaigns, white papers, articles, blogs, brand messaging) utilizing various digital tools. This position reports directly to the CMO and will be responsible for helping several companies simultaneously. SEO, SEM, and extensive writing experience is required. Someone proactive and self-motivated is the ideal candidate for this position.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCore duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Digital Marketing:Create digital marketing campaigns, implement A/B testing, perform data analysis, and report on ROIs and KPIs for multiple RevRoad and portfolio companies.Make regular recommendations based on monthly/quarterly compiled data for website, social, and other marketing content that augment growth, leads, sales, and drive public engagement.Develop and execute on multiple/simultaneous SEO and PPC campaigns for portfolio companies to achieve maximum ROI.Create and refine messaging in line with company branding for marketing initiatives, website, and other channels.Manage and optimize ad spend and results on a monthly basis across multiple platforms.Segment keywords based on performance and perform keyword research and competitive analysis.Public Relations:Find stories and unique news within RevRoad and portfolio companies from which newsworthy articles and blogs can be written.Create strategies and unique outreach tactics to secure PR and media stories for RevRoad and other portfolio companies.Launch and coordinate PR events.Create awesome publicity campaigns, using outside the box thinking, that creates buzz for portfolio companies.Reach out, build, and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media personnel.Copywriting:Create core messaging documents and content strategy for portfolio companies.Write blog posts, press releases, surveys, RFPs, and white paper creation, bios, presentations, briefings as needed.Scribe clear, concise, attractive copy with a distinct voice appropriate for online applications.Organize and coordinate content in newsletters and email drip campaigns.Collaborate with designers, PR representatives, and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns, brochures, landing pages).Conduct high-quality market research, interviews, and surveys.CompetenciesDigital Marketing:Have a thorough understanding of PPC, funnel, and direct response marketing.Demonstrate proficiency with running numbers and creating accurate reports on marketing KPIs and ability to maintain ROI reports on all assigned campaigns.Capability to build PPC/SEM campaigns from scratch and track performance rates.Experience with keyword research and reporting tools such as SEMRush and Moz is a plus.Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking with experience in click funnels.Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in online marketing, organic SEO, paid advertising and measurement, and willingness to stay up to date.Copywriting:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.At least 3 years of experience in creating, composing and writing ad based and marketing copy.High degree of creativity, with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, motivate and convert.Public Relations:Experience writing and distributing press releases along with demonstrable record in securing free press for clients.Ability to craft and write compelling stories/articles that the media will pick up.2-3 years track record for attracting influencers and overall public relations.Other:Be well-versed in G-suite products.Ability to manage time and keep a consistent structure for all tasks on a daily/weekly basis and work as a team player while managing multiple projects simultaneously.Flexible—able to adjust to shifting priorities with a positive “can-do” attitude.EducationBachelor’s degree desired in related fields (Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations).ExperienceRequired 3 or more years of experience working with SEM, public relations, as well as familiarity in multiple platforms (Adwords, Adsense, Bing, Yahoo, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)Required 2 or more years of experience working with Google Analytics.About RevRoad:Did you know that 9 in 10 innovations fail in the marketplace?
