Some are valuable in helping us meet our marketing objectives…others are not. This position will evaluate the value of each sponsorship opportunity by serving as the main point of contact for all sponsorship submissions. Specific tasks/skill sets include:Responsible for reviewing and researching sponsorship opportunities to evaluate potential value for dealershipResponsible for weeding out low-value sponsorships and presenting high-value sponsorship opportunities to dealership stakeholdersResponsible for negotiating price, terms/conditions, added-value, etc. for each signed sponsorshipResponsible for ensuring that the dealership receives all stated benefits agreed to in the sponsorship, which may include product placement, advertising commitments, branding opportunities, etc.Responsible for evaluating performance and reporting ROI for each signed sponsorshipResponsible for managing a sponsorship calendar that is inclusive of all signed sponsorships for all dealershipsManage Special EventsEvery year, our dealerships host or participate in more than 200 special events. Some are large and complex with many moving pieces and people resources…others are smaller and can be self-managed. This position will manage all special events for all dealerships, including vetting opportunities, planning and execution. Events may include grand openings, product launches, customer appreciation activities, company meetings, community involvement, etc. Specific tasks/skill sets include:Responsible for reviewing and researching event opportunities to evaluate potential value for dealershipResponsible for weeding out low-value events and presenting high-value event opportunities to dealership stakeholdersResponsible for negotiating price, terms/conditions, added-value, etc. for each signed eventResponsible for ensuring that the dealership receives all stated benefits from the event, which may include product placement, advertising commitments, branding opportunities, etc.Responsible for successful event execution, including event setup, vehicle placement (if applicable), managing staffing needs, event breakdown, etc.Responsible for managing all special event materials/collateral, including premium items, signage, tables, iPad kiosks, etc.Responsible for evaluating performance and reporting ROI for each completed eventResponsible for managing an events calendar that is inclusive of all scheduled events for all dealershipsManage Email NewslettersEvery month, our stores send out email newsletters. Currently, most stores send every other month. This position will manage all newsletters for all dealerships, including planning content, writing content and working with a specified newsletter vendor. This person will be responsible for all elements that go into the planning, building and launching of store newsletters and serve as the liaison between the newsletter vendor and the designated store-level newsletter contacts. Specific tasks/skill sets include:Responsible for identifying and recommending relevant content to be used in each store’s newsletterResponsible for writing any custom content that is needed for any of the store newslettersResponsible for planning and writing all elements of the Jim Ellis Group newsletters that generally go out twice a yearResponsible for ensuring that the dealership receives all stated benefits from the store newsletter vendor Responsible for successful launch of each store newsletter for any month that a store is scheduled to sendResponsible for planning calendar of send dates for newsletters for each store for the year and the monthly timeline and launch date for each store newsletterResponsible for evaluating performance and reporting ROI for each store newsletter and insuring that each store receives timely and accurate reporting from their newsletter sendsResponsible for proofing each store newsletter and insuring that all content is accurate, links work properly, etc.Content GenerationPosition will be responsible for generating monthly content for advertising copy, SEO, internal communications, PR, etc. Must have expert knowledge of AP Style writing, have the ability to create persuasive creative copy and serve as the leading grammar expert for the agency.
