You are a versatile writer/editor who can transform complex concepts into stories that pique audiences’ interest and build trust. As a true relationship-builder, you are interested in others and enjoy collaborating with different stakeholders including technical subject matter experts, sales team members, senior executives, and external partners. This is a remote positionDUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESThe successful candidate will: Work collaboratively with H&A’s marketing program coordinators/managers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify and create innovative and audience-focused content to attract, educate, and inspire our clients, prospects, and recruits.Interview internal SMEs and conduct research to identify new content ideas, write new content, and modify existing content to ensure it is current and compelling.Write and edit various content types including articles, case studies, blogs, landing pages, social media content, service descriptions, video scripts, high level company messaging, and non-digital collateral such as brochures.Ensure all new and existing content is centered on our value proposition and client/prospect needs and values.Collaborate with the marketing program coordinators/managers to optimize the distribution and discoverability of H&A’s content, especially in organic search.Collaborate with our sales team to understand new/emerging client issues for new marketing content development opportunities and to share brand messaging and positioning with team for leverage in sales opportunities.Manage external writing partners and review and edit partner-developed content, ensuring content is aligned with SME intent and H&A brand.Oversee and manage a content calendar, ensuring content is delivered on time and in line with our goals and brand.Ensure new and existing content adheres to SEO best practices, including working collaboratively with external website agency when needed.Contribute to guidance and education in brand messaging, style guidelines, and voice.Report on the overall performance of our marketing content and identify opportunities to improve.SKILLS/EXPERIENCE7-10 years’ experience writing and editing compelling marketing content for a professional services or B2B company.Bachelor’s or master’s degree in English, communications, or journalism.A natural storyteller who seeks to understand different audiences and is excited to find new ways to connect with them.A portfolio that demonstrates ability to convey complex and technical ideas persuasively and accurately, while maintaining brand ethos.Conceptual thinker with innate curiosity and a drive for continual learning.Ability to draw out persuasive stories from scientists and engineers and to help them understand importance of persuasive storytelling.Experience producing content for digital channels.Experience using analytics to determine the effectiveness of content.Exceptional copy writing and editing skills.Knowledge of SEO tools and best practices.Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact with senior executives.Experience creating and managing an editorial calendar.Job Type: Full-time
