|Job Description :||Description Job Description: Looking for an opportunity to make an impact? Leidos, the implementer for the Ameren Illinois award-winning Energy Efficiency Program, seeks a Marketing Creative Writer. The Marketing Creative Writer’s primary responsibilities include creating, writing, and editing copy for a variety of projects using multiple communication platforms, working closely with the Marketing Director, Deputy Marketing Director, Marketing Managers, and the Marketing Design Team to execute marketing plan initiatives for business and residential customers to promote energy efficiency. Initiatives include, but are not limited to, print and digital advertising, website development, social media, special events and community outreach. Under the leadership of the Marketing Director and Deputy Marketing Director, the Marketing Creative Writer works independently, as needed, and sometimes serves as a marketing lead in collaboration with program managers, subcontractors, and others to understand marketing needs and translate those needs into integrated marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness and encourages participation in the Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program. Location: A frequent presence in the Ameren IL Peoria office will be required. If this sounds like the kind of environment where you can thrive, keep reading! Responsibilities: Develops engaging content for multiple platforms such as digital and print advertising, newsletters, website, social media, e-mail marketing and more. Works with the Marketing Director and Deputy Marketing Director to communicate the marketing plan vision through creative writing that inspires action in collaboration with the graphic design team. Creates persuasive and creative marketing pieces, web content and communications that follow brand guidelines to ensure quality and consistency. Helps to manage quality control of all marketing collateral and messaging with the marketing team for consistency, accuracy, and cohesive branding. Works collaboratively with marketing team leads, the graphic design team, program managers and vendors to coordinate marketing projects to promote products and services. Coordinates and participates in promotional activities and special events to market incentives and benefits, when needed. Manages and develops all online marketing messaging – including – website content, e-newsletters, and e-mail campaigns in collaboration with program marketing managers. Develop messaging for the Program and its offerings for different market segments through print and online advertising, promotions, and community outreach. Creates cohesive and simplified content from information submitted by the technical teams in collaboration with the task lead. Responsible for tracking, analysis and reporting of project metrics and feedback. Oversees the Good News and Case Study initiative. Strong editing abilities for existing copy and to revise messaging in various departments. Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times. Continually stay on top of trends through business and industry monitoring to consistently create fresh copy that drives continued action and engagement. Required Education, Skills, Qualities and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field. Three years of work experience in marketing, communications, or related field. Demonstrated capability and success in the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies. Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods, including alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong creative development skills. Experience with developing marketing plans and adapting strategies to meet organizational needs. Can-do attitude, will-to succeed and desire to learn new skills. Exceptional attention to detail, quality, and follow-through. Professional demeanor and dedication to delivering unparalleled customer service to the client. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
