You will be responsible for creating, improving, and maintaining content to achieve our business goals. Additional duties will also include promoting content to raise brand awareness and monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify best practices. Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with demonstrable creative writing skills. As the Web Content Administrator, you should perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented. Ultimately, you should be able to oversee all digital marketing content initiatives to drive customer engagement, brand consistency, and a positive customer experience. The position will work closely with MarCom, Product Marketing, as well as Information Systems & Technology team.Job Model: Fully RemoteHybrid positions will require employees to work both on-site and remote each week under a schedule that has been determined and agreed upon by you and your manager.On-Site positions will require employees to work on-site for each of their scheduled shifts.ResponsibilitiesPrimary lead and contact person for development and maintenance of on-line content for the company’s customer facing web site as well as the intranet and extranet web platformsMaintains and updates web content according to web requests, internal editorial, and marketing calendars. Includes, but are not limited to: the creation of new pages, blogs, forms, and products.Work cross-functionally within Chesterton to develop and manage content and ensure accurate development of content as it relates to those departments and project objectives.Responsible for site design layout working and with designers to ensure compliance with Chesterton’s corporate graphic standards throughout all web platforms.Assist with social media strategy and activities which will include developing and posting of content in conjunction with product line managers strategies. Develop, create, and manage engaging content that aligns with our marketing strategy,Lead for benchmarking and evaluating emerging web technologies and competitive web sites.Responsible for developing and reporting on metrics relating company presence in search engines and social media sites and implementing changes to drive SEOAct as the primary contact for regional marketing teams to ensure regional marketing web platforms align with the global marketing site.Works closely with external Web Developer and Marketing to assist with the user-experience design, flow, and site navigation architecture.Works with partner agency and internal teams to develop, implement, and maintain Search Engine Optimization (SEO) standards and best practices.Complexity of DutiesWorks with minimum supervision, decisions are made based on pre-established policies and procedures, as well as professional experience and judgment.Special instructions given for new assignments.Uses professional judgment to determine when a higher level of authority is necessary.Essential SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
