The Media Relations Manager will serve as a key member of several client account teams. (S)he will be responsible for supporting all aspects of client campaigns, including content development, brainstorming creative angles for pitching client news to media contacts, cultivating relationships with industry media contacts, drafting press releases, email campaigns, case studies, byline articles, and monitoring client and competitor news to ensure that clients are getting relevant, positive media exposure. The Media Relations Manager will collaborate with other elite team members to suggest new marketing initiatives for their assigned clients, and to ensure that the team is meeting client expectations and achieving KPIs. Only the best and brightest to apply!Position Responsibilities: Support client accounts, including planning, developing marketing plans and coordinating with other members of team assigned to client accountCreate content for client communications such as press releases, email campaigns, case studies, marketing collateral and moreCreate, edit, and manage website contentDraft award and speaking submissions on behalf of clientSocial media management, including crafting posts for Twitter and LinkedIn, and supporting growth of audience and engagementMedia outreach and moderating client interviews with journalists & analystsEmail distribution using tools such as Hubspot, Pardot, Campaigner and Mailchimp (training provided)Press pick-up reportsClient and team agenda and calendar managementAct as vendor liaison for clientsResearch Editorial calendars, speaking and award opportunities, and industry eventsSupport lead-gen campaigns, including contact research, workflow setup, building landing pages, and campaign analyticsQualificationsThe Media Relations Manager should have experience in both strategy and execution of multi-pronged marketing campaigns, including public relations, content marketing, email campaigns, social media and editorial calendar management. Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as comfort presenting both internally and to clients.
