The Sauce Labs marketing team is looking for a dynamic senior content strategist who can determine the vision, roadmap, and structure of the enterprise marketing content strategy for Sauce Labs. This individual will help our content creators develop trusted and authoritative content for those who want to learn about automated testing in order to realize value quickly and derive the maximum value out of our products and services. The ideal candidate is an expert technical and thought leadership content designer as well as operational leader who can grow the content team and drive the success of the plan they execute against. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Marketing, the content strategist is a role for a person that wants to roll up their sleeves and help our customers and prospects succeed in delivering high quality software to their customers. Our ideal candidate relishes the opportunity to build and nurture a high functioning team that challenges, collaborates and delivers on our strategic vision and audacious goals. Key Responsibilities Lead planning for the content strategy program – creation, adoption, measurement, and roadmap Collaborate with the demand generation, digital marketing, and product marketing teams to develop content strategies for each of our core personas and product value streams Understand the needs and intent of our various target audiences, including the practitioner and decision maker audiences, across different channels Audit and analyze the content marketing strategies used by our competitors and SaaS-based technology providers that are in adjacent software delivery market spaces Conceive, write and edit content that resonates with our target audiences Build a team of content writers as well as manage our pool of contract writers and freelancers Monitor and assess industry best practices and trends for developing and delivery high-value content to various audiences while generating leads Desired Experience 7+ years experience creating high value technical content strategies and/or content design, preferably B2B SaaS Experience creating successful demand generation content experiences Demonstrated leadership in using content strategy principles to plan and deliver content Skilled in recommending a variety of content types to reach a variety of learning styles Expert at using data, user research, and industry trends to inform content decisions Demonstrated leadership in presenting content design and strategy principles to multiple stakeholders and persuading them to adopt new ideas A creative problem solver that can multi-task and juggle several projects at a time Excellent writing, editing, planning and organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills, team building and collaboration Works well under pressure in a fast-paced digital environment What We Offer 100% company paid health insurance Remote first company policy with flexible working hours Equity Competitive 401k matching Annual allowance for professional development A culture that values ideas over hierarchy, transparency and ownership mentality Please note our privacy terms when applying for a job at Sauce Labs.
