We partner with Fortune 2000 clients, often in specialized, highly regulated industries, to enhance the customer experience and accelerate revenue through content marketing strategies that attract, engage, and motivate their target audiences. The content division is responsible for creating, measuring, refining, and delivering content marketing plans for our clients, as well as executing impactful content to move specific personas through the customer journey. Our writers play a crucial role in developing and producing these materials, including white papers, case studies, blogs, articles, emails, webinars, videos, interactive content, campaign landing pages, social media, ads, and sales enablement tools. Essential Functions and Responsibilities This senior writer will: Write persuasive, insightful content for a sophisticated audience, including C-level executives and financial services professionals. Interact with clients to understand and define requests, brainstorm and conceptualize content assets, interview subject-matter experts, provide status updates and deliverables, and engage in the feedback and revision process. Rapidly gain familiarity with complex concepts, including terminology, trends, and priorities, particularly within B2B financial services and fintech topics. Synthesize information from various sources, including by interviewing subject-matter experts and reviewing reports, marketing materials, transcripts, and assignment briefs. Use personas to develop relevant, engaging, and actionable content for a specific market segment. Successfully revise content based on feedback from clients and internal stakeholders. Partner regularly with DemandLab teammates to determine a strategic approach, construct creative briefs, provide documentation and project updates, and engage in peer editing and review to ensure a superior deliverable. Develop timely and creative approaches to tell compelling client stories. Adjust writing style, tone, and voice to fit each medium and client. Communicate professionally and kindly with clients and teammates alike. Consistently meet deadlines and other commitments to clients and teammates. Education and Work Experience A minimum of 10 years of related experience, such as marketing writing, content creation, thought leadership, journalism, technical writing, content strategy, or product marketing writing. Demonstrated excellence in writing on B2B financial services topics (for example, portfolio construction, insurance, fintech); experience in software or pharmaceuticals a plus. Expertise in crafting content in a variety of formats, including white papers, emails, blogs, social media, case studies, etc. Application Requirements Include links to three samples of your recent content writing samples (B2B audience preferred); one sample should be long-form content, such as an in-depth article, multi-page brochure, or white paper. Provide a link to your online portfolio if applicable. Provide a link to your LinkedIn profile if applicable.
