|Job Description :||CSC is seeking an experienced senior-level writer who writes content with authority and edits with precision. We are looking for someone who is passionate about writing and storytelling, and can translate some of the most difficult compliance, legal, and financial concepts into positioning and content that resonates with our audiences. Candidates can even be fully remote or hybrid in this role. This individual will be responsible for creating content for a broad range of marketing communications that resonate with financial services professionals with backgrounds in asset management, banking, accounting, and law, and in unique industries like capital markets, fund administration, global compliance, and corporate trust. The majority of work will consist of original writing: articles, press releases, brochures, white papers, and social media content, and may require the candidate to interview and work directly with subject matter experts. Other projects will require editing: proofreading, standard editing, content editing, and copyediting. The senior writer will be responsible for maintaining a consistent voice and ensuring that all copy adheres to corporate messaging and brand style guidelines. Some of the things you will be doing: Creating in-depth compelling communications and positioning on a range of legal, compliance, and financial subjects related to the global markets and the services CSC provides Showing versatility in producing clear communications through a wide range of styles and channels, including web pages, emails, presentations, blogs, videos, articles, collateral, white papers, and public relations Using storytelling to simplify technical or business information Identifying and promoting industry-leading best practices that increase engagement and lead generation Cultivating and maintaining strong, productive relationships with marketing and business partners to align messaging and maximize engagement opportunities Editing content developed by others within the company for spelling, grammar, punctuation, style, and accuracy. Working on multiple assignments simultaneously under pressure to meet tight deadlines; managing workflow efficiently and taking responsibility for timing and delivery Providing excellent service to internal clients Desired skills and experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a head writer for a large corporation, professional services firm, financial services organization, or advertising agency Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to create materials that inform and influence Advanced understanding of AP style A strong writing background, providing a portfolio of diverse writing samples Strong time-management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while under tight deadlines. The ability to write concise, attention-grabbing copy that encourages the reader to take the desired action. Persuasive B2B writing, research, or editorial experience.
