|Job Description :||#LI-CN1 #mid-senior About the role: We are looking for a copywriter with strong e-commerce and SEO writing abilities to join our team creating, as well as adapting a variety of work for a global client who manufactures safety and industrial equipment. With an affinity for communications, this role will help us improve the presence and visibility of products on owned and leading channels & e-Commerce platforms at global level. Beyond mastery of your craft, you’re a leader who is able to own your projects and execute them to perfection. You are highly motivated and see every brief as an opportunity to create industry leading work. You are a digital channel expert with expertise in enhancing customer experiences through omnichannel and online content, who never sacrifices relatable storytelling while optimizing for performance and productivity. You will work closely with a team of designers, project/account leads and clients to develop digital content primarily for e-commerce platforms. You are a team player that would enjoy sharing their knowledge, experience, and brand guardianship with team members, across categories. What you will be doing: You will work in close partnership with Product Marketers and Marketing covering a wide variety of B2B content. In this role, you will hustle with excellence — taking ownership and pride in delivering the highest quality that sets the standard for the larger team. Because we work closely with our clients, you must be comfortable interfacing and taking client feedback directly, collaborating easily within your team to turn around projects with tight deadlines in minimal rounds. Produce original copy for B2B collateral including e-commerce, product pages and marketplaces Write, research and conceptualize creative, innovative content for safety and industrial products Create exceptional copy that will influence buying decisions and engage target customers Create cohesive content that aligns with larger brand stories and claims Be a steward of the brand tone and brand values, flexing across all categories Brainstorm visual and copy ideas with other members of the team Build highly collaborative relationships with functional experts in marketing, communications, technical service, and legal to ensure business requirements are met, functional insights are leveraged, and copy approval processes are optimized Ensure consistency and accuracy across all messaging to the agreed briefs and established brand values Follow and help build a tone of voice consistent to the client throughout all copy and proactively make recommendations for the direction of client projects Ability to apply effective research strategies to develop content when little or none exists including performing market, customer, and product research in collaboration with marketing teams to inform content creation Comply with all branding and trademarking standards, as well as specific content component standards Use appropriate Manufacturer or Distributor voice during copy creation to meet content publishing specifications and organic search strategies across multiple digital delivery channels Apply SEO best practices, incorporating keywords and meta tags to increase search engine results page (SERP) ranking Balance priorities and manage multiple projects across several divisions from kick-off to completion What you need to be great in this role: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications Experience with digital content styles and writing for eCommerce catalogs Technical writing experience Exceptional written communication and grammar skills Ability to build positive relationships among peers and management Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong research and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects across several internal departments Content management software experience Understanding of the content lifecycle, content marketing, customer journey mapping, personas, and insights Preferred candidate will execute strong copy writing strategies and crisp keyword analysis to create robust short and long product descriptions, along with impactful feature and benefit statements, to meet critical business and channel program priorities.
