And while every path is strategically set, it’s the support, resources, and guidance we offer each franchisee along the journey that ultimately arrives at success.Summary/ObjectiveWe are looking for a driven Social Media and Content Specialist to assist franchisees with their organic social media posts and help them grow their audience and engage with their targeted virtual communities. The Social Media and Content Specialist will also maintain Propelled Brands’ “On Your Behalf (OYB)” Social Media Program, and engage with Propelled Brands’ social media community using our brand social media accounts.Essential FunctionsThe right candidate will show the ability to:Execute local social media strategyManage and engage with the brand communitySchedule brand and local content for the OYB programManage OYB enrollments, add them to the system and create automated reportsBoost posts on the brand Facebook pageBuild relationships with the Propelled brands’ community and micro/macro-influencersSet up and optimize pages within each social media platform for new franchise locations and franchisees requesting assistanceModerate all user-generated local franchisee site content in line with the brands’ rules of engagement; alert franchisees to comments that need their attentionWork with social media vendors to get the most out of our relationships including testing new services, staying up to date on social media industry information, reporting, etc.Identify trending hashtags to include in post suggestionsContinuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and recommend program or process changes to supervisor to discuss actions to takeCollaborate with other departments to coordinate actions needed to help a franchisee manage reputationProduce content, including design, copy, and video editsProvide general social media support and education to marketing team members, as well as other corporate departmentsBe the go-to for social media help requests from franchisees and Marketing Services ManagersEducate and assist franchisees with local reviewsDevelop monthly theme cover photos for our social media channels as well as holiday cover photosPitch social-first story and video ideas with viral potentialCollaborate with content, creative, and video teams to produce content for social channelsMaintain the consistency of brand messaging and voice across all local social media platformsOther duties as assigned by your manager.Key Competencies: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skillsA competent writer who can create social media contentWeb DesignA clear understanding of social media and its impactAbility to listen and to respond to people in a calm, thoughtful, and professional mannerExcellent knowledge of social media platforms – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn and best practicesExperience in social media management platforms such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Hubspot, etc.Understanding of social media KPIs, web traffic, and SEOAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesAbility to manage time in an efficient and productive mannerProficient in GSuite programsRequired Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Digital Marketing or equivalentA minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in and/or managing social media programs for companiesExperience with social media management and scheduling programs, such as Sprinklr, Hubspot, MondayExperience in Canva, Animoto, GSuite, Google Analytics; Adobe Creative Suite is a plusAdvertising and/or business to business experience is a plus, as is working with franchisees or dealer networks.
