Ideal candidates have integrated marketing background and experience managing an online community.As a social media and content writing specialist, you will manage social media activities, monitor and evaluate online presence, and write engaging online content for clients in a variety of industries. We are a high energy, fast moving agency who is looking for a positive personality with great communication skills for our clients!Responsibilities: Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns at a hyperlocal level.Write monthly blogs and press releases for clients in a variety of industries.Generate content and meta data for client websites.Measure and generate reports for all social media campaigns.Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.Collaborate with other internal departments to support the online presence of our clients and optimize user experience.Communicate with clients regarding social media strategy and content creation.Develop content for new websites, email campaigns, and collateral.Participate in a team atmosphere with other members of our digital media department.Desired Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related field.Passion for social media – prior experience working in social media is a MUST.Thorough understanding of the social media space and those who engage with it – must be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge base of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, online outreach and partnership marketing).Ability to think strategically and to understand and act upon strategic marketing plans and briefs.Exhibit excellent communication skills, both orally and in written form – must be able to demonstrate superior writing and grammar skills.Proven success in launching campaigns and building communities.Capacity to handle a wide variety of tasks and assignments in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and the desire to introduce clients to potential new strategies and solutions that will positively impact their business.Effectively present information in both one-on-one and group situations to clients and other employees of the agency.Flexibility, responsiveness and the capability to “think on their feet”.Excellent organization, communication and presentation skills.Candidate should be assertive, pro-active and a team player.Exercise good judgment, flexibility, resourcefulness and strong organizational/time management skills.Ability to be adaptable and flexible.Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and remain calm under pressure.Ability to work independently and as a team with both coworkers and clients.Experience using Google Analytics and other reporting tools is desired, but not a requirement.Compensation: This position offers a competitive salary depending on experience and an opportunity to earn a quarterly performance-based bonus.
