Job Description : Summary The Content Marketing /Copywriter Specialist is responsible for supporting and activating the company’s brand through the creation of compelling strategic and creative content. This role will support full-spectrum content needs within the Marketing Department in areas including Allegiant’s website, blog, advertising, and social media, as well as copywriting for various internal groups such as Compliance, Legal, and others. This role requires exceptional writing and communication skills. Under the guidance of the Manager of Content Marketing, the Content Marketing /Copywriter Specialist will also be responsible for supporting the Brand team’s copy and content needs, prioritizing the creative workflow so that assignments are completed and delivered on time. Visa Sponsorship Available No Minimum Requirements Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check. Education: High School Diploma/GED Education Details: College degree is preferred. Certification: No Certification Details: N/A Years of Experience: Minimum three (3) years of experience copywriting and content creation. Copywriting experience.Knowledge of grammar rules required for proofreading and editing.Basic computer skills with emphasis on MS Office applications. Preferred RequirementsCollege degree.Previous airline experience.Travel industry experience.Experience in a corporate communication environment, advertising agency or production vendor preferred. Job DutiesUnderstand the Allegiant brand strategy and incorporate it into all content and written communications.Brainstorm, research, compose and edit original content for Allegiant’s website, blog, and social media platforms.Collaboration with internal and external partners to develop unique, strategy-driven content.Perform broad-spectrum copywriting for advertising mediums including print, outdoor, radio, television, email, and digital campaigns.Collaboration with agency partners to develop new brand campaigns and extend existing campaigns into new marketing channels and customer communications.Support SEO strategy and leverage SEO principles in digital content creation.Translate complex technical information into simple, engaging content when necessary.Ensure all written communications are accurate and free of spelling and/or grammatical errors.Revise, edit, and proofread copy written by other internal teams.Keep up to date with content trends and consumer preferences.Maintain consistent, accurate, and well-documented files on all assignments.Support all other Marketing/Communications Department functions as needed.Other duties as assigned.
