|Job Description :||Overview: THE ROLE: The Specialist, Content Metadata will be a self-motivated and impact maker who is passionate about helping to shape the future of digital asset management for Herbalife Nutrition. As a Specialist, Content Metadata, you strive to educate and empower our global stakeholders to create quality descriptive metadata by applying best practices. This role will work cross-functionally with business and technology teams worldwide that are critical to the success and enablement of our DAM governance. In addition, this role will help identify pain points and continually improve upon our metadata standards and workflows to increase efficiencies. HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: Metadata collection or creation, collation, cleaning, and analysis – including instituting and maintaining standardization practices, controlled vocabularies, taxonomies, and naming conventions Oversee the DAM governance policy and standards around metadata across all asset stakeholders of the DAM. Provide support for digital asset workflows, tagging, and organizing digital assets in the DAM. Weekly review of imported partner-provided metadata, including revising title names, editing descriptions, verification of ratings, filtering of keywords, and locating various identification numbers Auditing and resolving problems, such as duplicate, missing, or incorrect metadata Define metadata standards for archived image assets Creating and maintaining metadata spreadsheets, documentation, and training materials. Train stakeholders of the DAM around metadata best practices. Think critically about the issues you encounter, investigate the causes, provide feedback as well as solutions, and communicate this effectively with the team Assist stakeholders with completing the metadata spreadsheet for asset ingestion. Review DAM analytics and provide metadata findings and optimization recommendations to content stakeholders. Define metadata workflow requirements Assisting with various assigned projects WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT THE TEAM: As part of the Worldwide Digital Product Team, you have the opportunity to be part of the company’s digital transformation. You will do this by helping build out the DAM platform, establishing partnerships with internal stakeholders worldwide, and improving Distributor success. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None Qualifications: SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: 5 years’ work experience with metadata and digital asset management systems and standards 3 years’ experience in data governance and/or asset management. Experience developing, implementing, and/or maintaining controlled taxonomies in a business environment Strong working knowledge of project management and service applications such as: Confluence, Smartsheet, Jira, Adobe Analytics, and ServiceNow Methodical research and organizational skills, careful planning and investigative know-how, and meticulous attention to detail Proactive and flexible approach to work – embrace change and uncertainty, ownership of responsibilities, and contributing to improving workflows Independent judgment making skills are a must Excellent time management skills and a high level of self-sufficiency Strong communication and teamwork skills Background in writing is a plus Education Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field of study.|
