Our team is Big Sky Communications. For more than 20 years, we’ve built and managed global Customer Reference and Customer Advocacy Programs for high-tech industry leaders. From program design and development, to advocate recruitment, request fulfillment, and content development, Big Sky works with its clients to engage advocates, uncover compelling stories, and provide creative ways to share them. Clients include Adobe, Akamai, Google Cloud, Meta, Informatica, Pure Storage, SAP, ServiceNow, Matterport, VMware, and more. The Opportunity: As a Senior Writer, Enterprise Technology Marketing you will work with Big Sky’s clients and account management team(s) to create compelling customer stories and marketing materials that support clients’ marketing objectives. The content you produce highlights how the technology/ies enable our clients’ customers to address business challenges, achieve measurable technical and business ROI, better serve customers, and in some instances, improve communities. You’ll work with multiple Big Sky account teams and several of high-tech’s leading companies to conduct research, participate in interviews, and produce or contribute to developing case studies, slides, blogs, infographics, email campaigns, social media content, executive communications, and other marketing content. #LI-REMOTE Requirements In your written storytelling experience, you’ve combined technical details and real-world customer experiences into creative, informative, and inspiring stories. You are open to new approaches to telling customer stories, looking for ways to convey community, social, environmental, and other topics of interest to targeted audiences. You have 5 or more years of successful experience as a marketing writer for B2B-focused technology companies delivering enterprise technologies. You’ve utilized storyline research methods such as interviewing business and technology professionals at all levels (practitioner to c-level), reading reports, and web searches to capture and communicate relevant, relatable stories that clearly and simply convey technology benefits on company processes, employees, and ultimately on the customers and/or communities served. Prior experience working in an agency or as a consultant is a plus. You have an excellent command of the English language and a track record for mastering new subjects quickly. You enjoy creative challenges and are comfortable working independently to craft dynamic customer content in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You are collaborative, open to feedback, and responsive; you solicit feedback and iterate work products with a positive and flexible attitude.
