Job Summary The Content Specialist will be responsible for the Supply Chain information required for commerce between CHOP and its suppliers. The Content Specialist will work collaboratively with all of the Supply Chain teams to facilitate the capture, enrichment, and presentation of critical information used in the procurement and inventory processes including contract, supplier, item Master catalog, and other supporting data elements. Job Responsibilities Coordinate projects in support of B2B commerce by working with cross functional teams of Supply Chain, AP, and supplier resources Owns and maintains contracting information and pricing data along with its validation Create and maintain catalog content, forms, and policies in the e-Procurement solution and downstream systems Work with suppliers on the onboarding of new items, pricing, and processes related to the transacting with suppliers. support the supplier and content enablement process Sets up and maintains the item master information in the ERP system including all supporting meta data Works with the Revenue Cycle team to ensure Supply Chain item master and charge master items are linked and in synch. Identifies potential contracting and sourcing opportunities based on content & pricing evaluation and escalates as appropriate to Procurement team Works collaboratively with the contracting and procurement teams to support business relationships. Must be able to manage, document and communicate special processes which are establish in pursuit of supplier relationships and transaction support. Establish and maintain strong SOPs for the loading, management, and validation of supplier content Work closely with the rest of Supply Chain Central Services in the communication of supplier content and process changes Work closely with Procurement, Inventory, Systems, and Content Teams to ensure the ability to utilize Supply Chain content Must evaluate and employ a multifaceted approach to Supply Chain content utilizing all features available in the eProcurement and ERP solutions for smooth end user experience. Performs 24/7 on call support for Supply Chain systems if applicable Required Education and Experience Required Education: High school diploma/GED Required Experience: Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare supply chain Preferred Education, Experience & Cert/Lic Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, IT or business Additional Technical Requirements Strong knowledge and experience in the Procure to Pay Process Ability to organize and run small to medium projects with the suppliers and Supply Chain to establish ecommerce connections Deep knowledge in the operation and management of healthcare procurement systems, specific expertise in CHOP’s systems highly preferred Strong Ability to Multi-task Excellent Writing and Verbal Skills Detail Oriented Must have a drive for excellence in the delivery of supplier content Ability to manage and manipulate data Ability to establish and follow SOPs for content management Strong Excel, reporting, and data analysis skills Ability to understand and document processes in Visio To carry out its mission, it is of critical importance for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to keep our patients, families and workforce safe and healthy and to support the health of our global community.
