Watch on NBC and Peacoc

Even Independence Day has not been spared inflation this year: the price of fireworks has reportedly increased by as much as 30% in some places. But you can still enjoy Macy’s 4th of July Fireworksback for its 46th year, which will air on NBC.

The show, which begins at 8 p.m. Eastern Time, will feature performances by the likes of 5 Seconds of Summer, Brett Eldredge, Carly Pearce and Pitbull. Pyro Spectaculars by Souza’s 25-minute fireworks display in New York City’s East River begins around 9:25 p.m. and averages 1,900 shells per minute. Some of the new forms of fireworks on tap this year include mushrooms, top hats, blinking smiling faces, and “little snake shells.” Don’t have a cable?
